Differences between MAGA and traditional GOP
When we share clips of Republicans modeling Builder behavior, some liberal-leaning community members respond with messages like above. Some draw a line between “traditional” and “MAGA” Republicans, thinking, “MAGA Republicans are extreme and unreasonable; it’s not possible to engage with them in productive ways.”
But such line-drawing can be insulting and can amplify divides.
